As a Heavy Duty Repair and Towing company, one of the best and easiest ways to spread the word about who you are and what services you offer is by having a Business Facebook Page.

Creating your Business Facebook Page is entirely free. It’s also an excellent marketing tool to share the services you offer. Facebook has the capabilities to help you understand and create long-term relationships with your new, current, and future customers.

1. Create Your Business Facebook Page

There are ways to get started with your Business Facebook Page by logging in to your personal Facebook account to create a new Business Facebook Page or follow this link to get started instantly. Then you will start adding essential business information to your new Business Facebook Page. There are three important elements to focus on right now for your Business Facebook Page:

  • Page Name: Use your business name that most people know
  • Description: Here is the perfect place to go into detail about your services, the type of customers you serve (for example: heavy-duty, big rigs, and semi-trucks), and the areas you service for cities and counties
  • Business Categories: Make it easy for your customers or Facebook visitors to know what to expect from your business. You can select up to three of these pre-defined categories:
    • Automotive Service
    • Automotive Repair Shop
    • Emergency Roadside Service
    • RV Repair Shop
    • Towing Service
    • Truck Repair Shop

When you upload your photos, be sure that your image is is clear and looks good. It may take a few tries to get the perfect photo.

Your Facebook Username is essential as it is the link to your Facebook Page. It’s how your potential customers can find you easily on Facebook. The username that you select should be similar to your Facebook Page Name, which appears under your Profile Picture as your page’s title.

To create your username, click on Create Page @Username in the left menu. Your username should be concise and representative of your business. If your preferred username is already in use, you can include the area code of your phone number or a verb about your services.

4. Add Your Company’s Service Details

Next, you’ll fill out your business information for your new Facebook Page. Scroll down in the Left Menu and click Settings and Select Page Info. From there, confirm that your Page Name, Username, Description, and Categories are accurate.

You’ll need to add the following information:

  • Contact Information: You should include your phone number, email address, and website (if you have one)
